All
dogs must have a current
vaccination certificate which must include kennel cough vaccination
and must be produced before the dog can be accepted into our kennels
and training programs.

K9 Consultants training classes are unique as your
dog is trained according to their needs and character. Your role in
the training is explained and demonstrated so you fully understand how
your interaction with your dog is an essential part of the entire
process of your dog trusting you completely.
In addition to group classes for all ages of dogs,
our home visits address your dog where they feel most in control, at
home. You will learn how to teach your dog you will take complete care
of him and his safety so he can learn to relax.
To fast track training your dog how to behave in all
situations, residential training can be the answer. Your dog stays in
our kennels and learns how to behave in a calm and responsive way. An
essential part of the training is a full day with you so you can teach
your dog to work for you so the skills he has learnt work for you, after
all, that is the reason you sent him to us, isn't it? If you would like
a more advanced training course, then spend a week with your dog being
trained in all situations so you learn throughout the week.

with and without problems. You and your dog learn how to meet other
dogs, how to react to unruly and bossy dogs off their lead, how to
recall your dog when playing with other dogs or just not paying you

| Dog and owner One to One
training |
This service is offered for owners
that prefer one on one training or require it due to behaviour issues
their dog is displaying. This unique experience can be used to ready the dog
and owner for everyday life and involves the owner and their dog
having full time, one to one training from Steven Havers for five days. Training
takes place in town centres, open fields and country parks,
not in a training field in isolation from the real world. |

| Dog only One to One training |
This service is offered for owners
that prefer their dogs to receive the training they require from
expert trainers. This unique experience can be used to ready the dog for
every day life and involves the dog
having one to one training from Steven Havers for five days. Training
takes place in town centres, open fields and country parks,
not in a training field in isolation from the real world. On Friday,
you are required to join us for a whole day so you can learn the
skills required to continue the progress that has already been made. |

Our private home training is for the dog owner that prefers to train
in his or her own home. It is also useful for the owner that
feels only certain behaviours the dog is displaying in the home need

| Dog aggression toward
dogs/people |
Aggression in your dog needs careful and expert handling. A belief
that your dog is in control of the territory and home leads your dog
to meet any perceived threat with aggression. For your dog to learn

under undue stress. As this takes place in

Shutzhund |
Superb sport for
dogs and hugely enjoyable. Consists of three phases, tracking,
obedience and protection. The emphasis in all three phases is on
drive and control and keeping training fun and enjoyable for handler
and dog alike. Training days are Sunday mornings from 09.00 till
finish. Visitors and interested dog owners are welcome to come and
see training in progress and to discuss what is involved. |
